HOLY MOSES To Go Ahead With BADIA ROCKS Festival Appearance
July 6, 2006Despite a previous announcement to the contrary, German thrashers HOLY MOSES will go ahead with their appearance this weekened at Italy's Badia Rocks festival. Bassist Robert "Ozzy" Frese was previously said to be "very ill," forcing the band to cancel their appearance at the event. However, according to a new posting on the group's web site, the band managed to get Ozzy out of the hospital long enough to play the gig.
HOLY MOSES will enlist "old friend" Maurer (WARPATH, TEMPLE OF THE ABSURD) to take over the bass duties for all other dates until Ozzy can return to his regular duties.
HOLY MOSES' latest CD, "Strength Power Will Passion", was released in the U.S. last September via Crash Music Inc. The group's tenth album was the follow-up to 2002's "Disorder of the Order", which came out through Century Media.
